More good news on the equality front. And three cheers for Lilly Ledbetter!

About Us

It was the last straw! "In Memory of 50 Million Unborn Babies," said the local Right-to-Life ad on the 35th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. Those ads always piss us off, but this one distilled our fury. Like the world needs 50 million more people, we cried! Embryos are not babies, we roared! We assume that the majority of Jackson Hole area residents roll their eyes at this kind of false and pathetic rhetoric from the religious right. But we are creeped out by how loud the antiabortion/antiwoman voice has gotten in our liberal outpost. We decided to Cowgrrl Up and speak out about women's rights, body politics, safe and steamy sex, and other feminist issues in our dear home town. The term "cowgirl up" means to assert one's female self in a courageous, self-confident way. That's exactly what we plan to do and we hope you'll join us!
