It looks like President-Elect Obama (just a few more hours!) will act quickly to reverse the Bush's administration's global war on family planning. To me, this is a good sign of things to come.

What has stopping global warming got to do with feminism?
Both efforts imagine a hospitable planet for all people, regardless of race, gender, socio-economic status, or geography.
I just read the latest dispatch from conservationist Bill McKibben and it made me more frightened than I've been yet about the course this planet is on.
